Shinn-Chung,Liang was born in Taiwan and now lives in London, UK.
After a richly varied career that encompassed stints as a civil engineer, professor and Managing director, Dr.Shinn-Chung,Liang now returns to his first love art.
Since retiring in 2001, Shinn-Chung,Liang has been learning the craft of painting and drawing and is mostly self-taught.
This volume showcases Shinn-Chung,Liang's paintings and drawings from 2008 to 2013 and follows the first compilation of his works in September 2008, covering the period from 2001 - 2008.
This period has seen Shinn-Chung,Liang focus on trying to capture the fascinating and exquisite elegance of the human figure using pastels.
Shinn-Chung,Liang has typically chosen to show the nude human form captured doing everyday activities, giving the view an insight into his sense of whimsy.
